Eco-Justice Collaborative (EJC) views Creation as a sacred act of a loving God, and sees each human being as responsible for honoring that gift through daily actions that sustain and protect the integrity of life.  Our mission is to raise public awareness of the consequences of lifestyle choices on people and our planet and to encourage changes that:

• Seek harmony with Creation.

• Respect all life.

• Value diversity.

• Support ecological sustainability.

• Bring about a just distribution of the world's resources.

Eco-Justice Collaborative is incorporated in the State of Illinois as a not-for-profit organization.  Jubilee Economics Ministries, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, is our fiscal sponsor.  Jubilee Economics Ministries (JEM) is made up of a diverse group of people from the United States and Mexico who work together to find new ways to live an alternative economic system that sustains, rather than destroys life. The wisdom of the biblical Sabbath-Jubilee guides their work and continually converts those who hear it, providing  a reliable basis for changing economic systems from unsustainable to sustainable patterns.
